WAS: What Adults are Saying about the Cowardice of 47's "Strength"
He jumps a bandwagon to cover his own messes
Roughly 10 days ago the President of the United States stood at the White House and said “Israel should not bomb Iran.” Three days later that sentiment was ignored as the Israeli’s started extensive attacks there that continues to the moment. Meanwhile, 47 continued to fumble in every possible way on every domestic issue, capped by an embarrassing June 14th parade. Two days later he briefly attended the annual G7 summit, embarrassed himself on an international stage and then brusquely left other leaders after Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney handed him a political juice-box and sent him to the corner.
This weekend, the President who adores the servitude of many bootlickers, channeled those skills in adoration of Benjamin Netanyahu and ordered American bombings of three nuclear sites within Iran. This even after US and most world intelligence agencies concluded the Iranians were not close to a nuclear bomb capability. That Netanyahu had previously declared otherwise to justify his country’s attacks (and keep his ass out of jail), was good enough for 47 who never met learned, professional advice he respected. Accuracy be damned, if someone above his intellect (which is virtually everyone above 9th grade) advised one thing to him, that was quick evidence to do the opposite.
At this time the outcome and immediate ramifications of these attacks are unknown. But there is near universal agreement that American action has upped the chances of broadening the war theater and certainly inviting retaliatory terrorist attacks against US interests.
Of course, 47 has invited this heightened danger because essentially that’s all he does. In his endless mayhem and tough guy cosplay, he spends enormous energy in trying to convince us of his omnipotent power with a middle-school level of justification. The bully-of-the week at most junior highs has more guile, planning and panache in executing his pre-pubescent intimidation than 47 has at just about anything. So too was the case with the Iranian bombings.
Hundreds of pages would be needed just to memorialize this behavior during his Presidential years (let alone the ludicrous bloviating that has been part of his entire career). His current domestic messes in deploying ICE agents on non-criminals, mobilizing the National Guard to Los Angeles, non-constructing the “wall”, dismantling federal aid agencies at the beginning of hurricane season and on and on. All of it reveals something already known—including many who voted for him—America’s village idiot and her President is one in the same.
Remember 47’a ambitions, paradoxically, are grandiose yet narrow. He simply wants to scam as much dough as he can for he and family, enact as much of Project 2025 as possible and end NATO to help a world re-ordering that turns Moscow and Washington into long-term sister cities. All the rest of it is feigning, largely because his advisers reason the more Americans screech “OMG” to his endless lunacy the more they ignore the real constitutional, social and cultural pillaging—and to a certain degree—they are correct.
In this context 47 jumping on Israel’s coattails is easily understood—an out that bought him a possible 48 hours of normal news spin This also means he has invited all the dangerous responses that could follow. Remember a credible assassination effort crafted by the Iranians was already once thwarted—surely more lone wolfs will materialize. American military bases everywhere now must foil the next wave of potential saboteurs. An Iranian response could go anywhere including other NATO countries creating the unimaginable scenario where treaty compels US assistance in ally support as our President seeks to kill NATO as a way to placate Putin.
Perhaps most dangerously is how 47 will receive international diplomatic response that fuels his megalomania. Now cognitively fading and most days looking like a shuffling cadaver, he is prone to believe his own b.s. more than most narcissists. His skilled sycophants then feed that ego so personal ambitions become achievable. If the “specific objective” of only attacking three nuclear sights when Iran has no bomb is a mark of 47’s strength—then just like Dubya and “weapons of mass distraction”—he is actually offering cover for his own political skill and cowardice. May his latest style of delusional folly not come to bite the rest of us.
