WAS: What Adults are Saying about Sitting in the back Pew
The US again is unusually feckless in halting a strike by an ally
For the second time in less than a month an American ally has conducted preemptive military strikes where the 47 administration was either unaware or its wishes ignored. This is an unusual, if not stunning, scenario where US leadership and interests have been granted less consideration than customary. For sure, the United States does not control all the world’s military nor conduct all the world’s wars. But for a variety of reasons it has always been at the intersection of global military activities for a very long time
Whatever the detailed dynamics that fueled this rarity, it must include the global community rapidly losing trust in America as a reliable, trustworthy, adult-like partner. This would seem especially true as the White House continues to leak like a sieve on behalf of Russia as though our interests are now theirs. These leaks and 47’s atrocious support are occurring because, stunningly, this may become true.
The Ukrainians knew this while confronting the mind bending reality that a Biden-led NATO coalition offered key support in that country’s response to a Russian invasion—while its current President essentially jumped sides a few months ago! Its recent attack deep within Russian territory was improbable where no one within the 47 administration, including the ultra-useless Secretary of State Marco Rubio, had foreknowledge. This means Ukrainian diplomats and any NATO allies who did kept their lips sealed. It also meant to whatever degree US intelligence had knowledge it never made its way to the White House. Of course there may be good reason for that in that those same intelligence operatives suggested Russia’s 2022 initial attack would topple capitol Kyiv, with a matter of “days.”
The Israeli’s, led by its bloodthirsty Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, attacked Iran on June 12th only after recently visiting Washington and just days after a mumbling 47 saying it “shouldn’t” attack Iran. So much for the Bloviater-in-Chief carrying a big stick that wields influence! While he and his hideous minions continue threatening and attacking its own people, the rest of the world is concluding there is no place at the table for such deranged, childish leaders with mush as brains. The world is having its own military parties and for the first in a very, very long time the US has been dropped from the invite list.
While this situation is not as urgent as the mess being created in Los Angeles, it is a BIG deal. With stunning speed “what do the American’s think?” has gone from a question most international leaders ask daily to just put the Americans in the back pew—as we rapidly become the new international heathens. This is not in the country’s best interests. It doesn’t matter if one is the most salivating military hawk or most delicate peaceful dove, when the US gets left out of the bombing loop we are all negatively affected.
Perhaps this too is among the many maniacal desires of 47: To rule as an authoritarian is his own country (between viewing cartoon episodes), as preamble to fully aligning the US with Russia. As ridiculous as this may appear, who reading would firmly say without hesitation “that could never happen”? So to the back pew we’re headed with the other late-arriving ingrates who are always light on the collection plate. Those are the least serious parishioners of the flock and increasingly where 47 and his incompetent bootlickers are taking us.
Considering all the foreign purchasers of 47’s meme coin, I would say American irrelevance and subsequent weakness is quite lucrative for him.
