WAS: What Adults are Saying About 47's Wall-to-Wall Incompetence
He can't even do evil well--stunning given its his behavior default
Evil, bad characters are abundant in history, fiction and any local theater where awful folks constantly preen with their phones instead of watching the damn movie. This abundance means we all have been widely exposed to those who carry a primary modus operandi of simply trying to heap bad on someone else. What motivates said people to embrace this inhumane life purpose has attracted the attention of doctors, scholars, clerics and the mob for centuries. No other mammal purposely behaves badly to their own and yet some Homo Sapiens do that frequently. As head-scratchers go, its a big one.
One of the most visible practitioners of this lifestyle is number 47. He does this with more steadfastness than home shopping channels selling worthless midnight baubles and war paraphernalia and wants to project a threatening mayhem that makes Lex Luthor or Dr. Evil look like schoolboys. Embracing an authoritarian approach that remains an outdated premise in some American industries and boardrooms, 47 thinks its a great quality for the nation’s Commander-in-Chief to possess. He pursues it with relish believing a flexing strength pose is the way to govern, humiliate others and strike fear across the millions of citizens to whom he is constitutionally obliged to protect.
Both genetics and socialization brought 47 to such a place. For decades he sat at the knee of a corrupt father who widely practiced scandalizing corruption in one of the most corrupt industries ever known—real estate development. The old man pumped out a world view that eschewed fair-play, accountability, the law or anything else that made others something other than what they really were—folks who could be hosed on the way to more profit. A founding member of eight-pack Crayola crowd, 47 not only embraced this theology but made sure any other philosophy was derided—humanity, empathy and all the rest were simply sniveling sentiments practiced by so many “losers” in life.
Not just in politics but throughout his life, 47 has leveraged this mindset to create a caricature of himself so that he may always be the center of attention on whatever stage he fancies and to facilitate his endless grifting. For many to live is to love, or to eat, or to pursue existential purity. Not for 47, it is, and always has been, to screw the other guy. He bolsters this mentally-ill view with an insistence of always trying to appear as endlessly strong, tough, rough, mean, hard, stoic, firm, brave and unflinching in the face of peril. While he does this precisely because he is none of these things—possessing a wide streak so crisply yellow he looks like a corn field in late summer—it works for his self-appraisal in attempting to come off as one of the world’s foremost evil bad-assess. Well, you know President’s need to have fantasies too.
That 47 has duped himself, however, doesn’t deny the fact that he has all the “genes”, misguided socialization, fraudulently obtained start-up capital (and once again) a bully pulpit to continue his fantasy play. That many are made the worse for this is seemingly a type of Presidential-wake “collateral damage” we all must accept. That also means we gird ourself for more mayhem and evil because (after all) 47 has loads of scores to settle having been denied a 2020 re-election and subjected to punitive witch hunts holding him accountable for felonious behavior. Surely his pedigree, outrage and endless sense of imagined victimhood would fertilize his evil so that it might spread like kudzu. Wouldn’t it? Well, no. That’s because one thing of the utmost purity continues to get in his way of this effort—his own, endless incompetency.
Forty-seven aimed to open his current show with a seat-bracing number—kind of like Springsteen starting with Badlands. This way the audience would clearly get the message. It was on—caveat emptor. But something got in the way, and as always, it was him. He has behaved so feckless and bumbling that instead of creating a Boss vibe, we are left instead with Judy Collins mournfully singing Send in the Clowns. A mere 10 days into a new term and the evidence is everywhere that 47 can’t even do evil correctly.
Consider the dust-up with five-touchdown underdog Colombia, that mortal military and economic threat with a GDP per capita thirteen times less than the US. In running a trade surplus equal to Elon’s checkbook, Trump mangled how to “slap” tariffs on the South American enemy until cooler heads prevailed. Largely because any tariff would have turned that surplus into a deficit, his propogandists found some way, over a weekend no less, to claim the matter was “settled” so that he might claim victory.
Then while tightly grasping his roots as fraudulent developer, 47 lobbied to “clean-out” Gaza just days after a 15-month war there ended. Though the place has been some of the most fought about land for millennia, the evil, bold step of bulldozing it was reasoned great for all. This way Arabs could take the displaced Palestinians, the Israeli’s would have one less neighbor to bang on, and most importantly, developers could hold sway in building a magical sea-side land that would make Mar-A-Lago look like a highway rest area.
But the appetite for evil was not abated. It was now time to “freeze” any government payments or grants. This was needed to ensure greater government efficiency could be had—you know 47 is so particular about his government—and to permit an Apartheid-raised interloper with a four-letter last name to show America the right and correct way to make this happen. So the freeze froze, until rapidly it thawed, and once again the intellect of those from the spectrum-addled, eight crayon crowd created another moment of national mayhem.
Then a terrible aviation accident occurred just blocks from 47’s current home. As recovery workers were still claiming bodies, within hours, the all knowing wizard was proclaiming divine “common sense” had told him the cause of the tragedy. Failed diversity policies of his political opposition and predecessors were the culprit: That’s what lead a jet and helicopter to simultaneously occupy the same speck of sky. He knew this because as told his administration was focused on “safety” not government policy. His inherent evil within spurred him to make remarks met with a response reserved singularly for this President and no other: shock but not surprised and wholly incompetent.
In his first 10 days 47 is assuring all he will be true to himself this term. He will get payback. He will deploy his “genes” driven destiny that says others must be dominated, after all, hegemony is written in code on his family coat-of-arms. He will ensure we cower at his visage and know what the true exercise of power means. He will then turn-tail and return to the lonely, fat-kid life he’s forever lived. Teat-sucking scoundrels will follow to tell us we should believe what they are saying, not our own lying eyes! But we will doubt that, and then expand our typical response to 47’s failed efforts at evil to include something he is all ways, all the time. A putz.
Great analysis of this loser. Thank you.
Thank you for reading. My pleasure.
